Christmas Eve at our HOME

CHRISTMAS EVE 2008
We enjoyed an evening together at our home. The kids put on a show, clogging and entertaining. We did a little Christmas story so we could keep in mind the TRUE meaning of Christmas. We shared gifts and feasted on Prime Rib, Crab, and many wonderful things. What a blessing to all be together - to have this opportunity to share Christmas Eve with those we love so very much!

After a tremendous dinner, the kids entertained us with their clogging and dancing.

The kids do a little gift exchange. I think they truly enjoyed the giving - excited to watch their cousin open the gift they got them. There was talk of not doing this next year, but the excitement the kids shared while giving and receiving, I think it was a lot of fun!

The adults also share gifts with one another. We have an assigned sibling every year. Sometimes it's hard to decide what to get, but it is always fun. We also share gifts with Mom and Dad and they share their gifts to us. The kids wait until Christmas morning to open their presents from Grandma and Grandpa. The most exciting part of the whole evening is just being together!!!

We had so much fun together - and loved having Matt, Lorie and Roger here! It was the first time most of the cousins got to meet Roger.

It was soooo fun to be there!!! I can't believe it'll be Christmas again next time we go back. Sad. Thanks for hosting so much of the fun.
What's this about no kid gift exchange next year? I'm not done having kids and I'm sure they'll want to participate!
Sorry I haven't emailed you the pictures yet, I obviously have time since I'm commenting on your blog. This week, it'll happen!
We sure love and miss you guys!
